Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Team Leader - National Highways
I started working for Cambridgeshire County Council 18 years ago as part of the Traffic Signals Team. I then moved on to wider Intelligent Transport Systems deployment including UTMC, VMS and CCTV and eventually ended up running their traffic management centre. I switched to National Highways nearly 7 years ago, initially working on the Smart Motorway algorithms and in early 2020 was promoted to CAV Team Leader.
