Andy currently serves as the Senior Director of Operations at Deliveroo, overseeing rider and delivery operations. In this pivotal role, he manages the intricate logistics of tens of thousands of Deliveroo riders who collectively handle an impressive 3 million orders each week. Andy’s primary responsibility lies in ensuring a seamless coordination of riders, strategically positioned and equipped, to efficiently collect and deliver food from some of the best restaurants and grocers in the UK. Prior to his tenure at Deliveroo, Andy held the position of Chief Operating Officer at FREE NOW, a prominent European entity in the taxi and ride-hailing industry. Andy’s diverse career also includes stints in high-growth startups, and a significant role as an Operations and Business Manager within Mars Chocolate. His professional journey commenced as a Captain in the British Army following the successful completion of a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham.
