The third panel debate session included Richard Gueterbock, James Elliott, Gavin Lane, Liam Herbert and was facilitated by Dr Tim Fox. The discussion focuses on the next steps and hurdles to create policy that supports a sustainable agriculture sector.

Richard Gueterbock Director - Foodchains
Richard has spent over 30 years in the agri-food sector, in marketing, sales, and business development roles. This includes supporting businesses with bio-energy and emissions reduction, championing on-site digestion for industrial sites, and involvement in bio-energy policy formulation. Richard is working on a range of on-site biogas projects, including Brewdog and on the rural use of Biomethane as an HGV fuel. He is part of a team that produced a wide-ranging report on the decarbonisation of UK agriculture titled Farm of the Future – Journey to Net Zero for the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE). He is involved in a number of UK agri-food decarbonisation projects and works with early-stage businesses involved in modular biogas technology.
