Clare Jackson
Director, Hydrogen Hub
Clare is an energy policy and strategy consultant at Ecuity Consulting, working with clients across the energy sector to shape energy policy. Clare leads on Ecuity’s work on hydrogen and fuel cell technology and the UK’s transition to a smart energy system. She manages the Hydrogen Hub, a market development for hydrogen and fuel cell technology that aims to establish a hydrogen economy in the UK. This is achieved through the establishment of local Hydrogen Hubs which develop deployment opportunities for technology and through engaging with energy and transportation policy. The first Hydrogen Hub was set up in Swindon in January 2016 with the second due to launch in March 2018 in Oxford. Clare has previously managed an EU project, working with businesses on energy efficiency and worked as a sustainability consultant, working with retailers on benchmarking the carbon footprint of their packaging.
