Simulations: would you trust them with your life?

Why simulation is for the whole process not just validation

Gianluca Vitale discusses why we need to think about simulation differently. He addresses the perception that simulation is only used in the end validation process, listen to his session to find out why this is not the case.

Gianluca Vitale Global Business Segment Manager - AVL
He obtained his master’s degree in electrical engineering at the Università degli Studi di Napoli, Italy. Until 2003 he worked as a scientist for STMicroelectronics. In 2003 he joined AVL Austria as a Calibration Engineer. After two years he started working as a Project Leader. In 2009 he became Group Product Manager. From 2011 until 2014 he held the position ‘Manager of the Diesel Engine Production Calibration’. Since 2014 he is working as Global Business Segment Manager.
